Hello!
My name is Chelsea Bishop.
With fifteen years of professional experience behind the camera, my passion for photography is rooted in storytelling—capturing genuine moments that reflect the essence of the people and places I photograph. Known for my ability to make anyone feel at ease (and for rocking a fanny pack since 2010), I bring warmth, creativity, and an eye for the in-between moments that truly tell your story—whether it’s a golden-hour engagement, heirloom portrait session, or a buzzing corporate event.

My Approach
Photography is more than just clicking a shutter—it’s a creative collaboration. I believe the best photos happen when people feel authentic and at ease. Before every session, I provide clear guidance on what to wear, how to prepare, and what to expect, so that when it’s time to step in front of the camera, all you have to do is be yourself.
From scouting perfect locations and plotting key shots to offering styling tweaks, fixing stray hairs, and wrangling children or event attendees, I ensure every session is organic, fun, and relaxed. My secret weapon? Making you laugh, and feel confident, ensuring you don't sweat under eye bags or blemishes—I’ve got the editing covered.
During every shoot, I read the room, guide when needed, and blend into the background when the moment calls for it. Whether hyping you up for a lifestyle session, coordinating group shots at an event, or capturing candid moments in between, I bring energy, adaptability, and a creative eye to every frame.
A Litte More About Me
With years of experience across government, corporate, and non-profit sectors, my background in branding, marketing, communication strategy, and politics shapes how I approach photography. I see every project through a lens of storytelling, ensuring each image serves a purpose and meets your personal or professional vision.
When I’m not behind the camera, I’m with my husband, toddler, gigantic dog, and/or friends, enjoying outdoor adventures, trying new restaurants, listening to live music, crafting, or savoring a well-made coffee or old-fashioned. Splitting my time between Franklin, Tennessee, and Washington, D.C., I’m always ready to travel wherever your story takes me.
