What to wear and how to prepare.
Attire and accessories

Wear what makes you feel most confident and stay away from patterns if possible. Please wear coordinated bottoms so we have the option of a wider-angled shot. Minimalistic jewelry will make your headshot more timeless—take off your Apple watch! If your tie knot gives you trouble, come with it pre-tied.
Hair, skin, and makeup
Don't worry about a day-of zit, eye bags, or frizz, I'll handle those in the editing process. For hair, sport your typical professional style. With makeup, rock your everyday look or glam it up a bit; whatever look you're going for. Consider bringing any hair or makeup products you may need for touch-ups on multi-outfit shoots.

Specific needs
If your headshot session is scheduled through your employer or organization, please be sure to share any specific headshot requirements like background color, stance, and so on. If you have a relevant pin (i.e., company logo) or brooch (i.e., American flag), consider bringing it with you for a few shots.
Get excited
Your headshot session is all about you. Don't be nervous if you're not comfortable in front of the camera—I will ensure you're captured in your best light. I play upbeat music and have several proven exercises to get a natural smile and pose. Please reach out if you have any questions or song requests.
